HALO XC1 C-Hook Brake Discs are designed for drivers seeking responsive braking, consistent pedal feel and a distinctive performance-focused appearance.
The XC1 design features an array of precision-machined C-Hook grooves across the braking surface. Each 3 mm-wide hook creates additional leading edges that interact with the brake pad, helping to provide a positive initial bite and responsive pedal feel.
During braking, the C-Hook grooves help refresh the pad surface and clear away brake dust, gases and surface debris from the contact area. This helps maintain effective contact between the brake pad and disc, supporting consistent braking characteristics during everyday, enthusiastic and fast-road driving.
Developed and machined by HALO Brakes, the XC1 combines functional surface geometry with an immediately recognisable motorsport-inspired design. The C-Hook pattern provides a purposeful appearance behind the alloy wheels while clearly distinguishing the XC1 from conventional straight-grooved and smooth-faced brake discs.

Performance Disc Notice
HALO XC1 grooved brake discs may produce more audible braking noise than standard smooth-faced OEM brake discs, particularly during light braking. This is a normal characteristic of grooved performance brake discs and does not indicate a product fault.
