HALO XD1 Dimpled & Grooved Brake Discs combine distinctive performance styling with a precision-machined surface pattern designed to support responsive and consistent braking.
The XD1 design features sweeping grooves combined with carefully positioned groups of blind dimples across the braking surface. The grooves help refresh the brake pad face and clear brake dust, gases and surface debris from the contact area, supporting effective contact between the brake pad and disc.
Unlike fully drilled brake discs, the XD1 dimples do not pass completely through the disc. The dimpled pattern delivers an aggressive, motorsport-inspired appearance while retaining more material within the braking surface.
Regular interaction between the machined pattern and brake pad helps maintain a fresh pad surface, promoting positive initial bite, responsive pedal feel and consistent braking characteristics during everyday and enthusiastic road use.

HALO XD1 Dimpled & Grooved Brake Discs may produce more audible braking noise than standard smooth-faced OEM brake discs, particularly during light braking. This is a normal characteristic of performance grooved brake discs and does not indicate a product fault.
