When replacing your brake pads we recommend new brake pad wear wires also be fitted where required to prevent false warnings. Very often when your pads are worn down, the wear wire will also be worn alerting you that your pads are low, if this is the case you will need new wear wires.
If your wear wire is not worn we still advise the wires are replaced as they can become damaged when removing the wire from the old brake pads, and there’s nothing worse than having to do the job twice.
