Aerospace grade aluminium alloy adaptor brackets to accommodate EBC 4 pot racing calipers (BC4101) and larger 350mm brake discs. Originally we developed these adaptors to fit our own Focus ST 250 as we had the calipers on the shelf so thought why not! For testing we chose Donnington Circuit and they performed flawlessly.
During testing we used an ultra high friction brake pad compound the EBC SR21, which gave us large amounts of braking torque, however for road use we would advise an alternative pad compound, due to the high coefficiency of friction level provided by the SR21's and the audible noises that these pads emit, not to mention they are also not ECE R90 approved.
The adaptor brackets are cnc machined from T6 aluminium alloy billet and they also incorporate stainless steel wire inserts to strengthen the threads and finished in a hard anodised natural colour to protect from corrosion, the calipers are then accurately located onto the cnc machined stainless steel bobbins.
