The DBA 5000 Series is a premium two-piece brake disc designed for drivers seeking improved braking performance, durability and appearance over standard OEM components. Featuring a lightweight aluminium black hat assembly combined with DBA’s high-carbon XG150 alloy iron rotor, the 5000 Series is engineered to cope with the higher temperatures generated during spirited road driving and occasional track use.
The cross-drilled and slotted friction surface helps evacuate brake dust, water and friction gases, maintaining consistent pedal feel and braking performance. DBA’s renowned Kangaroo Paw ventilation system utilises 144 diamond and tear-drop pillars to maximise airflow through the disc, improving heat dissipation and helping to reduce brake fade during repeated heavy braking.
